2006 Plant Community Centre Project

View of the north side of the old Plant Bath Building before the project was started. Note the expanse of ice from water running off the building.


The lawn was threadbare and the weeds were flourishing.


The City delivered a hefty load of topsoil . . .


. . . which we used to build three new perennial beds


The OHS showered us generously with plants.


The City provided a plentiful supply of mulch.


And soon our desert was blooming


Doug put in a massive stone wall.
