Jane Agnew and Konrad Lewinski - Trillium Prize Winner

Many flowering shrubs mean this yard looks lovely in all three growing seasons. As the house is built on a flood plain, the gardens are terraced front and back. The front gardens are mainly flowering shrubs of different textures and shades interspersed with perennials, flowers predominantly rose-pink to contrast with the yellow-green house. The back gardens (a new work planned to integrate with the water's edge) respond to the extremes with plantings of flowering shrubs, rock garden plants, perennials, herbs, and blueberries. A mature specimen white pine was planted to provide some protection for the foreground garden.
