Plant List for 2010 Sept. Sale - 2010 Plant Sale Sat., Sep. 11, 8:30 am to Noon

scroll down for the list

We're starting to gear up for the Fall Sale which will take place Sept. 11 from 8:30 to noon in front of the Old Firehall at 260 Sunnyside Avenue (our old sales site).

We hope you read the earlier Grapevine notice about the sale and have earmarked plants for donation. Please remember that we sell more than plants at this sale so if you have garden tools, books, containers or anything else garden related to donate, we'd be delighted to have them too.

Donations may be dropped off anytime starting on August 30 at the plant collection sites listed below:

  • MAIN SITE -.63 Elliot Avenue (just east off of Main Street)
  •
  • EAST END - 1143 Burgundy Lane (north side of the Queensway, west of Jeanne d'Arc)
  •
  • WEST AND SOUTH ENDS - 17 East Adams Street (west of Merivale, east of Woodroffe, south of Stack Road)

Plants going to the east and west/south collection sites should be delivered there by noon on Friday, September 10 and plants going to the central collection point should be there by 3 pm.  Feel free just to drop off your donations in the driveways.

Plants should be potted up and labelled if at all possible.  Contact Sheila Burvill if you need pots and/or labels.

If you know the names of any plants which you'll be donating to the sale, it would be very helpful if you could send these to us so that the OHS may post them on our website.

QUESTIONS?  Please contact Sheila Burvill at saburvill(-at-)sympatico.ca
