The Ottawa Horticultural Society, a garden club with over 300 amateur gardeners, was founded in 1854. Its purpose
is to promote and encourage interest and improvement in horticultural activities. We are affiliated with the Ontario Horticultural Association., District 2 and we are also founding members of the Ottawa Botanical Garden Society.
The Society expresses its thanks to Audrey Tweedie for providing the endowment that funds the hosting of this
website.
