The Ottawa Horticultural Society, a garden club with over 300 amateur gardeners, was founded in 1854. Its purpose is to promote and encourage interest and improvement in horticultural activities. We are affiliated with the Ontario Horticultural Association., District 2 and we are also founding members of the Ottawa Botanical Garden Society.

The Society expresses its thanks to Audrey Tweedie for providing the endowment that funds the hosting of this website.

Where we meet:
Unless indicated otherwise we meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month to hear guest speakers at:
Tom Brown arena 141 Bayview ave (at Scott) at 7:30 pm.

Except for special events, all meetings are free to the public. Everyone welcome!

How can I become a member?
Annual membership fees are only: $15.00 for individuals and $20.00 for families. You can join at any monthly meeting or by mailing-in the attached Membership Form. Come to a meeting to find out more about the OHS; except for special events, all meetings are free to the public. For more information about joining the club e-mail our membership coordinator D-J.
