- Alfred bog - a dome peat bog ecosystem.
- Algonquin College - 2 acre landscape garden south of College avenue (Woodroffe Campus) Featuring: peonies - including a number of wild species hard to see elsewhere, iris and other herbaceous plants. Good collection of trees and big collection of dwarf conifers.
- Richelieu Forest - located beside the former city of Vanier's city hall. The only sugar bush in Canada located in the middle of an urban area.
