Ottawa Horticultural Society The OHS program committee is planning the 2006 season. We would like your input on this past year's programs and suggestions for future programs. Would you please fill out the following questionnaire to assist us in our planning for the next year?

4) Over the past years, there have been a number of special speakers who gave presentations outside of the regular program. In 2002, it was Edwinna von Baeyer, on the history of the OHS, and in 2005, it was Alexander Reford on the Reford Gardens. Would you like the OHS to arrange such special talks in the future?

These talks were held at the National Library/Archives of Canada and were open to the public. Are you in agreement with this approach?

5) Often there are flower shows that are held at the Tom Brown Arena and at the same time as the talks. Would you prefer that the shows were held separate from the programs?

Would you prefer that the shows were held in a central public location, such as the Ottawa City Hall and be open to the public?

6) In 2005, one program was devoted to preparing plant material for shows. Would you like one program per year that helps you prepare for shows?

7) In 2005, a photography workshop was planned to be offered to OHS members. There was also a special tour arranged of the Central Experimental Farm lilac collection in conjunction with a talk on the CEF lilacs. Would you like to see this approach continue?
