Master Gardener's 1993 Report

Yearbook 1994 page 30

print friendly version

The Master Gardener group, which is sponsored by our Society under the direction of the Ontario Horticultural Association, reported that in 1993 volunteers contributed over 450 hours to serve well over 2,000 people in a broad variety of settings. The Master Gardeners' Hot Line, 828-5264, is operated every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m.

Among other activities undertaken were: an information table at the Central Experimental Farm every Sunday from April to early October and at the Byward Market every Saturday in May and June; a series of 11 workshops for Friends of the Farm; invited lectures at Garden Clubs, Horticultural Groups, seniors' groups, and others.
